IMpeachment Process
Whenever a new president is elected into office he or she takes an oath that endure pretty serious responsibilities. If for some reason they fail to uphold their responsibilities or abuse their power a charge of misconduct will be charged against them.
The only people in power to impeach the president is the House of Representatives, they are given this right by the Constitution. A majority of these votes must convict the president guilty for the charge to be passed to the Senate.
The Senate serves as the court for the charge and conviction of the president, for the president to be found guilty there must be a two-thirds vote, if not the president is found not guilty.
